Austin860 82 #1 Posted March 20, 2015 Recently got a 92 trx 250x. Will start up, but then die frequently. Once it warms up I can take off about 50 feet before she bogs down. Then it dies. Thinking it's the coil. Got one on order. Hoping that fixes it. If anyone has one, I'm going to need a lot of help with this one Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ken B 3,189 #2 Posted March 20, 2015 Did you look into the fuel system? Sounds like there could be a blockage preventing flow.. An engine will often run well enough at idle but when you put a load on it with a need for more fuel. if there is blockage... No go. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Austin860 82 #3 Posted March 21, 2015 Hey Ken, I did clean the tank and the hoses running to the carb. I have gotten it to throttle up and drive, but it will go 1/4 mile then die. Staying with my coil theory, untill I am proven otherwise. I figured I won't mess wih the carb yet, because when it runs it runs good. Coil should be here soon, I wanna ride this beast.
