grinchsr 647 #1 Posted March 7, 2015 I just picked up a 520xi and would like to know how different the plow is from a 416 to a 5xi. Is the axle mount the same and can it be modified to make it work with the 5xi lift points? One more question - Does anyone have a pic of a complete 5xi plow assembly? rexman72 210 #2 Posted March 7, 2015 the frame of the plow for a 416 is much smaller as the 416 is about 65 long as the xi series is like 75 inches or more.

royB100 0 #4 Posted March 7, 2015 Does anyone know the best way to replace the rear attachment lift cable on a wheel horse b100? I know I have to raise part of the frame off of the transmission to open up the tunnel but I don't know the best way to go about doing it. Thanks in advance! grinchsr 647 #7 Posted March 7, 2015 I knew the 5XI's were different but Toro changed everything. Like I said this is my first exposure to the 5XI machines so I have a lot to learn. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I KNEW EVERYTHING
redtractorfan 13 #8 Posted March 8, 2015 Yep, I have a 5xi blade on my 520Lxi and have seen the older blades and they are much shorter. It might take a bit of fabrication to make it work.
RMCIII 838 #9 Posted March 15, 2015 I knew the 5XI's were different but Toro changed everything. Like I said this is my first exposure to the 5XI machines so I have a lot to learn. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I KNEW EVERYTHING You may already know this, but nothing swaps to the "xi" line, from previous lines. I am sure they can be fabricated, but it would take some serious fabrication work to do so. As stated above the "Attach - a - Matic" is completely different in size and width. Best just to find the "xi" attachments and pay what the are asking. Here is a bonus, if you find anything listed for the New Holland GT -18, 20, 22. < These attachments and parts are interchangeable and usually a little less expensive. But they are a different color.
