stevasaurus 22,230 #51 Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks for posting in here Jim...I did not really know what was wrong and they were starting to bid on your bed pan. You are going to want to paint that thing RED, I think Terry Dennis can make up a suitable decal for it. Who knows...it just might pay all the bills. Good luck my friend and hang in there. Do you have your cell phone with you yet?? Prayers with you and Karen.

squonk 38,937 #58 Posted March 10, 2015 Up early eh Jim? Aren't hospitals great! They want you to "rest" to get better but they bug you every 2 hours. We need this and then we need that. And then if it's a teaching hospital, the students come in an hour after the regular nurses have been in your room and do the same exact thing they did and want to talk! "How are we feeling today"
dcrage 621 #59 Posted March 10, 2015 I "love" the 5:00 AM blood draw so that the lab results are available when the MD comes around ........,,,NOT!!

JimD 3,345 #62 Posted March 10, 2015 Had a harrowing day yesterday. It started off about 7 am with them thinking I was a Mr. Beam and taking me down for a test I wasn't supposed to get..makes us wonder, eh? Lo. Got that sorted then it was my second bone marrow biopsy. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy a ticket for that particular roller coaster ride. Next up, echocardiogram where I layed in a hall for 45 minutes and had 3 people some in after me go right in for testing got the test then another half hour in the hallway I lost my patience. That got results. The echo guy took me back himself and he was pretty adamant that this stuff was going to stop. Next and final ddrama/trama for the day was a central line. This actually went pretty smoothly and I will appreciate not being stabbed anymore. Forgive my spelling and punctuation errors as I am learning to use a kindle. Never thought I would refer to my desktop pc as old school but I can't wait to get back to it. Thanks again everyone.

squonk 38,937 #66 Posted March 10, 2015 5:00 blood draw? Try 8:00 P.M then 2:00 A.M then The 5:00 A.M wake up call. Then the big highlight, your in the bathroom ( they don't want you to lock the door in case something happens ) and the nurse taking care of your roommate whips the door open without even knocking!
