COMPUTER PROBS-ADVICE NEEDED

Hello Guys- I always ran winxp until today- my grandson gave me win7 for my 70th birthday and installed it. We copied complete harddrive to exterior hard drive before formatting my hard drive. Then installed win7. QUESTION: Where can I look for my old Favorites files to keep me from having to completely redo them?  Thanks for any help- I've tried everything- Al

PS- already copied the old hard drive stuff to my new system under a file name

Are you talking about favorites as in bookmarks on your browser?

Yes- specifically in my Firefox Browser with Yahoo Page as Home. I remember a few- but you know, there are always a few Gems you had to dig for in there-Thanks for any help- Al

Thanks Bob- I dug into this article, got some enlightenment, but got mired down in finding a program to open this particular style of file. jos...or something or other- My old eyes are too tired tonight- so far no success-thanks-it may be over my concentration level.- Al
