Great pictures guys...love that Elgin Outboard.

Well, Ive restored (re-built) a number of Wheel Horse transmissions again this year, but I got into fixing up a bunch of old chairs that have been over at my Mom's for years.  I think I have done about 9 or 10 this year.  Here is a couple of picks... :)

I restored a 1957 Bolens super ride-a-matic

Hey Brian,

In all seriousness, when you get tired of looking at the Bolens, let me know.

This is the machine I did over a year ago, which got me started looking for a different project, and that's how I ended up here, working on a Wheel Horse. This is 1947 Bolens Huski Gardener. I've used it to plow my 1/4 mile driveway for over 15 years. I want to see the old iron stay running.

THAT...is beautiful!!!! :bow-blue:

That is one of the most beautiful tractors i have ever seen. Is that a stainless rope pulley?

Mr. 856

This year just flew buy. Between work, my son, a now pregnant wife, the house there just doesn't seem to be much time left to get much else done. I did get the 856 back in running order including a rebuild of the engine. I have been slowly restoring a 1971 Ski Doo Elan for my son to have when he is older. I redid an old tow behind utility sled that pulls behind a snowmobile. Im still in the process of "restoring" my back yard including the installation of a decent sized patio/fire pit area. Does that count? :) Wish I had pictures of all my projects but there doesn't seem to be enough time for even that. With the 2nd child on the way im going to have to keep any new projects to a minimum for sure.

I did this about a year ago, and I don't remember for sure the color white, however; I think it was Ivory Bisque by Rustoleum.  The black is part powder coated and part Rustoleum Gloss Black.
