Is this a wheel horse cultivator? The guy i bought it from says he thought he bought it from a wheel horse dealer. He said the thing on top is a potato picker.

Yeah im gunna keep it. Best part was it was only down the road 2 miles. Only paid 35 bucks for it. The potato picker is a really cool add-on i wonder if that is original? Now all i need to get is one of the brinley slot hitch adaptors. And a set of discs or a tiller. Do the discs work pretty well? If anyone has had any experience with them.

A disc will work well at turning the soil if it has been worked recently.  It will break up soil that has been turned with a plow or tilled within the last few months.  There also good for turning a thin layer of soil over seads after there broadcasted.  They will not break the ground much at all if it's virgin ground.  Small discs with added weight will barely scratch the ground (one to two inches) even after multiple passes if the ground hasn't been worked in a couple years or more.
