rmaynard 14,945 #2 Posted December 16, 2014 The part number for the front axle on a Commando 8 is 5638. The part number on a 312-8 axle is 5638-01. 5638-01 supercedes 5638. They are the same. I used a C-161 (5638-01) axle on my Commando 8. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
