Cast Iron Wheel Weight ID and Front Weight question.

I just picked these wheel weights up today.  I was hoping they are Wheelhorse.  Can anyone help me identify them?  I did some searching on the site here and I think the fronts are WH but still not positive.

Fronts are about 23 lbs each.

Rears are about 24 lbs each.

It seems that the fronts wont fit my newest addition work & work in progress 520H. seems like the wheel bearing is in the way to fully seat.  Will try on my 312 next.

As for the rears, they sink right into wheels so they don't seem right either.

Are these a good addition? I'm thinking of putting the link chain on the center of the tire but with these i may not need them.  Building a garage and pushing the fill around and grading it.  Right now with a full push I loose steering.

Any help appreciated.  thanks.

The fronts are Wheel Horse weights.

The rears are not any I have seen but may work. The mounting holes in your wheels should be 6-3/32" center to center or 8-5/8" center to center measured diagonally.

Does anyone know what color the front WH weights are supposed to be?  I dont see any paint on the front ones that got.  I would like to blast, paint them up, and get ready for the first snow with HOPEFULLY better steering this year.  Anyone have picture of them on a tractor?

I've seen them red and off white.

I have a set  of the front weights like those.

Had to bore out the back side of the center to get them to fit over the hubs on my 520.

2" deep, 2 5/8" bore if I remember right.

The newer versions come with a center hole that fits the 520 hub.

Thanks guys good stuff.  How about a few words about how much improvement you see when using the front weights.

I have been told that there was a change in the design of the 8" WH front weights some time in the 90's.

They look the same from the front, but the bore on the back is bigger.

The only way to know is to measure that bore.

The extra front weight seems to help with steering the blade in the snow.  Also useful when using the grader blade or tiller.

I don't use them with the 2-stage blower or the loader--they have plenty of weight on the front end already.
