Wishin4a416 2,189 #1 Posted November 23, 2014 What happens if the stator harness is unplugged at the connector after starting? 310-8 Keep in mind I am electrically challenged. I have done everything I could do short of changing the charging system out to a regulated one which I am not going to do. Changed some connectors, terminals and cleaned all grounds. Its scarey watching that volt meter pegged. Lighting is a non issue. Charging is not an issue as I have several trickle chargers. Will it even run or will something burn up? oldredrider 2,548 #2 Posted November 23, 2014 Worst case scenario with the stator connection unpluged is you won't be charging the battery, running lights for too long and putting stess on the battery which will be running your whole electical system. Why don't you fix the problem?
