Zeek 2,284 #27 Posted December 2, 2014 I think most would tell you from the forum to drop everything now, even if your house is flooding and go get that thing! Its a rare model and a little harder to find parts for but for the price , I would buy them everyday at that price.
84specialed 16 #28 Posted December 3, 2014 It's been safe and sound at my house for the last few weeks. It actually has 15.8 hours on the meter and it does work. Had 15.4 when I got it. Don't know where Kevin got 68 but he's in his 70's so mybe he read it wrong. The rear plastic is cracked a bit at the very back, and has a few scratches here and there but in overall pretty good shape.

bmsgaffer 2,043 #35 Posted December 3, 2014 Anybody know a part # for the ignition coil on this tractor? Can you get them at an auto parts store? No one will tell you until we see pictures!!! I think some Harley coils work on the twins but someone of more expertise will have to jump in here.

84specialed 16 #37 Posted December 4, 2014 Anybody now what the engine model # would be for this 19.5 horse kohler engine? I'm trying to find parts but I'm at work and didn't think to look for the number.
bmsgaffer 2,043 #38 Posted December 4, 2014 Have a gander in our Manuals section. The "Model List" of your model year will have engine information too. You should also be able to find parts lists and numbers for your coil etc. 01-19KE01 is the 1983 model year (dont remember if you mentioned what yours was) so search for that in the manuals section and you will get some engine information (yours should be a KT19 series 1)

84specialed 16 #41 Posted December 4, 2014 I did, luckily enough there's a motorcycle place not far from me and they had one on the shelf. It's chrome lol, I guess it spruced it up a little lol. I'll find an original looking one sooner or later but it beats paying $230 for one from kohler.

ericj 1,576 #48 Posted December 4, 2014 i'm not going to tell you not to use it but with only 15 hrs on it i would be using it very sparingly. you just don't find a C195 with 15 hrs on it anymore and it looks like those should be original hrs for the machine. if it was mine it would become a show tractor with an occasional work out instead of being my main tractor, even if i had to go buy another tractor to use as my main tractor eric j
