Today in UK we remember those that gave their lives in the great world wars

It is 100 years ago this year that world war 1 took place

To commemorate this 888, 246 ceramic poppies were laid at The Tower of London ,each poppy laid represented each life that was given by the young folk

At 11am we will give 2 minutes silence to remember those that lost their lives

Please take a moment to also remember them

I thought it was 8 million.... Don't forget about the one's that were killed after the war becasue they were no longer need and it was considered a cost that goverments did not need at the time.
