MalMac 1,332 #3 Posted November 6, 2014 Yes they will work. Basically the same tractor. Just different fender pan, hood and hood stand. I change attachments all the time from 141 and a 314.

GreenMntRanger 38 #7 Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) Just found out that the tractor has been repowerd with a new BS 18hp engine...is this a problem Edited November 6, 2014 by GreenMntRanger
Racinbob 11,919 #8 Posted November 6, 2014 I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker but it does hurt some. Hopefully the Briggs fit without chopping the sheetmetal. If a quality job was done on the transplant it will be fine. Maybe down the road you can get a Kohler for it.

Racinbob 11,919 #10 Posted November 6, 2014 If the tractor is in decent shape I don't think that's a bad price. It's really hard to say without seeing it.

Don1977 605 #12 Posted November 6, 2014 If the engine was installed with the PTO in the same location their won't be a problem. If not you might need different length drive belts. I don't know what the PTO heigth is on a C-161. I installed a Vanguard 18 HP in my C-120 and used original belts. I had to raise the engine 7/8" to get the PTO at the right height.
