New Non Horse Wood Hauler

Recommended Posts

Some of you may have seen this in my barn build thread. It is a 1991 Honda Four Trax 200. I have been looking for a while for something on the cheap to use to haul wood over my buddies house. He has a ton of property and figured this would be a good one to use there. When I bought it the po got it 2 years ago and it needed new chain and sprocket as the rear was bent. $50 on epay and a new chain, front and rear sprocket were sitting on my door. I was able to install it this morning and have been riding it around a bit. It also makes getting from the front door down to the barn and back up much quicker than on a tractor. The only thing that I think it will need is a carb cleaning. It runs pretty strong but I think it needs to be cleaned as it was stalling out.

4x4 or 4x2?

I have a Honda Rancher 350 4x4 and its almost unstoppable in the woods and the snow. Mines the green Honda....the other one is Tony (docwheelhorse's) Polaris.

Only a 2wd but it has some knarley rear tires on it. In fact the tires look new all around.

I used to have the Fourtrax 4 x 4. Absolutely the most fun I ever had plowing snow!  :)

Those old Honda's run FOREVER !

Next time you need OEM parts try http://www.hondaeasttoledo.net/OEMpartfinder.htm

They carry OEM's for all major brands and are super cheap .

Here's a shot of the Renegade I usually ride , but my Outlander is always at the ready  :) .
