looking to pay your mortgage?

is it just me or have people gone crazy. I am looking on e-pay and seeing wheel horse seats for big bucks, wheel horse 1054 for 2000 bucks!! a b-80 for 500 bucks. there are many many more examples like it...this is insane. has anyone else noticed the trend...because once one person lists an "old" "antique" garden tractor on ebay for mega bucks they just come out of the wood work. it always seems like they are selling it for a friend, neighbor, aunt, or grampa...its just nuts.

it makes real collectors looking to preserve the old rare ones pay out the wazoo!

ok thats just my two cents.

I can understand it, if I'm looking to buy or sell and I have no clue to what it may be worth. That's my first stop. I watch what what they go for. :banghead:

The only things I buy on E-pay are things I cant find locally.

I sw the same thing. 3 or 4 tractors over a 1000. :banghead: I told my wife if someone comes to the door and offers her more than 500 each for mine to help the guy load them :USA: Old antique whatever, is any wheel horse worth 2999$?

Just my 2 cents

i think sellers on ebay have friends that help friends...they run the bids up on an honest buyer, while if it dont sell or they overbid, they just have an agreement to resell it later....Have you ever seen the quote: I had a dead beat buyer had to relist my item.

I'd say it's because of all those collectors up in Pa. They're the ones that have drove the price up. :banghead::USA: :omg:
