Fordiesel69 271 #9 Posted October 21, 2014 If you loosen the bolt and are not familiar with engines, you can have a real mess getting it right again. You really can't feel what you are doing thru the pliers. Perform the adjustment per the manual on the cable / springs first. If you can't get it working, then maybe try the shaft.
