rmaynard 16,291 #2 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) It's a bad picture, but the valve is located here: Counter-clockwise 1/4 turn if I recall. Edited October 12, 2014 by rmaynard
daveoman1966 3,839 #3 Posted October 12, 2014 You are missing the valve...it should look like this on the top of the Hydrogear unit

Callen 64 #5 Posted October 12, 2014 You have an early one.. it is on the back right under that splotch on the wire. 1/2 or 9/16 head, don't remember which, just loosen it a bit and just snug it when you're ready to run it.

Kegler 68 #7 Posted October 13, 2014 Reminds me of my first 'barn find' a '67 1077. PO had bought it new, also had a tiller with it. Anyway, when we went to roll it out of the barn it would not roll, so we pulled it out to where we could get it on my trailer. Not having much experience with WH I never thought about the Sunstrand parking brake! Pushed the handle down and rolled it right off the trailer. I now have 2 Sunstrand tranny's with working parking brakes.
