Need help to Identify this disc harrow

Recommended Posts

TONY65

I have had this disc harrow for about 30 years,  I inherited it from my grandfather after he passed.  I don't think it is a Wheel Horse disc.  I plan on restoring it very soon.  I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can tell me who manufactured it.

Thanks Tony65

I don't think it is a Brinley (who made attachments for just about every GT known) but it looks like a nice piece of history.

That looks really heavy duty with the greasable collars but like KC9KAS said its a nice piece of history

Only thing I have found so far that looks somewhat similar is a Simplicity disc for their lawn & garden tractors from the 60's, but I have not found an exact match yet.  I will try the casting number on the collar and see if I can find a match.

What a jewel. If you get tired of looking at it ive got family just across state line in Ohio

That will gladly pick it up for me. As compact as that is it still looks like its built like

A brick out house and appears so easily adjustable too.

Yeah, for as small as it is, it weighs a ton.  Plan on restoring it and hanging it on the back of my 1055 I just finished restoring.
