tommyg 152 #1 Posted October 5, 2014 This is kind of an off the wall question, but here goes. I normally pick up my grass clippings with my cyclone rake pulled behind my D-180. Since I haul it to a recycling place when I'm done, the simplest thing for me to do is back the Cyclone Rake onto the trailer using the fold up gate as my ramp. Goes up easily. The trailer is big enough that to get the clippings toward the front of the trailer, I have to back up far enough so that the tractor comes to rest almost entirely on the ramp at about a 30 degree angle give or take. I'm always fearful that because of that angle, the engine is starving for oil. So I always make sure I shut it down and put on the parking brake while I unload. Do you think I'm being over protective? Am I causing any damage to my engine by running it at an incline such as this? What do you guys think?
