got my h60, was advertised on ebay as good compression, no carb. perty lil black thing (will be red soon enough) well, it's true but should maybe have read no carb, manifold, or control mounts. my main question at this point is about the intake port... it is fully twice the size of carb. I am asuming that there should be some kind of manifold   to rotate the carb 30-45 degrees? did i just get sent the wrong carb? must be 25 years since i have worked on one of these engines, can't remember. again, intake port seems HUGE. carb doesn't fit.post-13831-0-69246200-1410657731_thumb.jpost-13831-0-42737300-1410657746_thumb.j

Well, the good news is the company is out of Indiana with 100% positive feedback... maybe they will exchange it :) thanks for the info :)  I will still need that carburetor flange right?

Yes, you will need the flange. I've seen them on Ebay.

assuming that 30195A is a part number... not sure of the number shown on the toro parts site, I didn't write it down, because it said "not available" so, in light of this, i will google 30195A thank you :) Heh, read text again... my reading comprehension used to be pretty good... they say the mind is the first thing to go :banghead:

i see them on ebay sometimes.....just keep searching "Tecumseh h-60" and eventually you will find one.  you will also need  the governor rod , spring and a throttle bracket if you don't already have them

Thanks 305, found a few, but pricey on ebay, found a very good deal through wanted thread from a fellow member, will be closing it soon. I am left with needing an adapter for the crank (so my drive pulley works) and a mounting plate to fit the L-156 frame. i can fab a plate pretty easy, and the adapters are readily available from a maytag small engine collector on ebay.
