GM_Man 47 #1 Posted September 10, 2014 Picked up my second horse the other day a C-175. As soon as I saw how nice the seat was I knew I had to have it! I also got a plow and chains with it. I've never plowed with a hydro before. I was wondering how they hold up to plowing?

546cowboy 301 #3 Posted September 10, 2014 I plowed for several years with a 520H with a 48" plow and never had a problem at all. I have a 400 ft. or so driveway and the area if front of my house and shop. I also used to plow my neighbors driveway and I never had chains or fluid in the rear tires. My drive is pretty level though and I never let it get over 12" deep but my drive does drift some but the tractor never balked once.
Sparky-(Admin) 19,684 #4 Posted September 10, 2014 Hydraulic lift is great when plowing! I think the hydro's hold up well since when your plowing its cold outside...........hydro's don't like the heat. Mike...........

GM_Man 47 #9 Posted September 10, 2014 Thanks for the info everyone. I think this is going to be the plow tractor this winter. Definitely going to need it if it's going to be anything like last year.
