Sparky-(Admin) 19,568 #2 Posted September 1, 2014 The second tractor is a C-100...around a 1975 or so. Does it not include a deck? Only the roller, trailer and maybe a plow? The first might be a Commando-8 . Mike...........
rmaynard 14,909 #3 Posted September 1, 2014 1st tractor looks like a Commando 8, the second is a C-100 and it came out in 1974 and 75.

squonk 38,952 #5 Posted September 1, 2014 The C Series deck would fit the newer 89/ 90 tractors

Ed Kennell 35,828 #7 Posted September 1, 2014 My C-101 has the new style deck with the front mule drive and was a freebie junker from a coworker. My Commando 8 was bought two weeks ago for $150.

stevasaurus 22,231 #10 Posted September 1, 2014 Rick, tillers can go for as much as $250 to $350 in good shape...sold separately. I think JimD is pretty much spot on with what he posted. I don't know if that deck on the commando will work on a "C" series. You could check one of the accessory charts in the manuals section. The horses appear to be in pretty nice shape. I think around $1000 for the works would be a fair to good price if the horses run good.
Geno 1,928 #11 Posted September 1, 2014 Are these 2 different people? Just for me I try to stay with 1970+ with the tach-a-matic. I would be most interested in the #2, especially with the wagon. If you look at the front part of the hood you will pretty much see the first type is mostly 1969 and older, the 2nd is mostly 1970 and newer style from what I've seen. Probably not always but it's what I use to judge if I'm interested in it or not.
squonk 38,952 #12 Posted September 1, 2014 You can "attach" the old deck to the newer tractor but you would have no way to drive the deck. The front hitch on the Commando and C series are the same dimensions. I can put my mid grader on my 704 and C-160 with no changes
