Rubes15 0 #1 Posted August 21, 2014 Hi everyone, If this has been previously discussed I apologize in advance, but I could not find any topics on this. I recently got a 260 Series Wheel Horse for free. I believe it's a 269-H or 270-H although I cannot find a serial number on this thing. It came with a 52 inch mowing deck and the attachment power lift and has cruise control. The tractor runs great but it has 1 problem. I cannot get the power lift to work. When I press the switch up or down, the power lift's 25 amp fuse pops right away. The lift does not even get to move up or down. The previous owner tried with 10 through 20 amp fuses but according to the wiring diagram for the power lift, it should be a 25 amp. I'm hoping that this is an easy fix and there is a bare wire somewhere that I can find and seal. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions on where to start?
