What engages your PTO now?? A manual lever? Maybe the electric clutch bit-the-dust and someone put a manual setup on it :scratchead:  but left the switch in the dash ?

What tractor are we talkin about here.

C-160 automatic. And yes, it does have a manual lever on it. But it looks stock. It is exactly like my old mans set up on his C-120 manual that I used growing up.

There are two prongs on the back side of that switch. One side has a wire and it runs to the ignition, but the other one doesn't have a wire on it. And I dont know where ots should end up

Some one put it there for some other use, may have been extra lights. It should have a blank plug in that hole with a manual clutch.

I do not know. I think I'm the third owner and the person before me had the mechanical skills of a 5 year old girl who wants to grow up to be a princess. I'd go through what I've had to fix on this beast, but I dont want to waste your time and possibly make some of you sick to your stomachs.

My personal favorite is he apparently tried to fix his leaky axle by cutting an 1 1/8" in a pvc cap and then just slide it over the axle... I honestly dont know what his plan was.

That's no way to fix a leaky axle. He should have used old rubber gloves and duct tape!

If that switch has a wire to the ignition but nothing on the other side of the terminal, it goes nowhere and operates nothing. You should be alright leaving it as it is.
