dodge78 94 #2 Posted June 29, 2014 Rock picker for a bucket? The dirt goes into the bucket while the rock and larger objects get caught. ??
JimD 3,347 #3 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) Yep, rock picker. Looks to be homemade and should attach to a loader bucket. With the bucket slightly above ground the tines will kick the rocks into the bucket leaving the dirt behind. Similar to this one.. I guess it could be but it's only 17" wide, my bucket is 40" wide and I can't seem to figure out what the little spring loaded lever is for.
JimD 3,347 #5 Posted June 29, 2014 It looks like the front is a pivot point with the pin on one side and the opening with a bolt stop on the other. Maybe the lever is a latch release to drop it into position. Some pickers just flip the rocks to the surface so they can be picked up afterwards.

MalMac 1,332 #7 Posted June 29, 2014 Yep it's a mini rock or debris catcher. It will or should hook on to your bucket. Just watch using it. Sometimes they can cause a bigger mess real quick.
stevasaurus 23,274 #9 Posted June 29, 2014 Denny, if these guys are right about what you have there...the size would suggest hooking up to a walk behind.
