Hurricane Watch Issued in Maine

Recommended Posts

MaineDad

We just had a hurricane watch issued for Maine. Kyle is supposed to hit Maine sometime tomorrow night. We already have had 6 plus inches of rain today and yesterday so flooding is going to be a problem. Here's the story...

Dang glad this isn't winter right now, we'd be buried in 6 feet of snow :banghead:

Yeah, Micah - we've been watching that one over here in NH as well. We won't get anything close to what you poor guys are going to have to get through, so know our thoughts and prayers are with you..... (smiley with praying hands)

And you're right - if this was winter we'd all be in deep.....snow...... :USA:

Hope y'all make it through unharmed......these things are a way of life down here (in Alabama)!!!! As long as you aren't on the coast or in a low lying area prone to flooding (if the storm stalls) then you should be fine.

I remember the last time we had a hurricane watch up here in maine

I was a young pup and it was Hugo I think...correct me if I am wrong Micah.

I am up in central maine so we should be pretty safe I think.

The storm took a "Right Turn Clyde" and punched into Canada. Nothing more than a lot of rain.

These dang forecasters can only get the temperature right!
