Martin 2,130 #2 Posted June 2, 2014 make sure all pivot points from lever to hydro cam are good. if you have worn joints it won't help. i had one that wouldn't smooth out with adjustment and the bolt that serves as a pivot for the cam plate that is captured in the bracket on top of the hydro pump was loose. this was allowing the plate to rock back and forth instead of pivoting around the bolt. if this is the case, you really need to remove the bracket from the pump to fix this. the head of the bolt needs to be fixed or welded to the bracket.
