fredwook 2 #1 Posted May 28, 2014 I am restoring a Raider 12 and am wanting to put some 23x10.5x12 rear tires on it. It now has some 6x12 narrow tires. Will John Deere 5 bolt wheels work correctly? I am looking at some for sale that fit JD 110 through 300 series according to the seller. Seems like I read somewhere that JD wheels have a different offset. If someone could clear this up it would be great. Also if there are other garden tractor brands that will work it may make it a little easier for me to find some. Thanks for your time. The JD wheels are offset too deep because of the wider axles on the Peerless transaxle. Here is a Raider 12 that I am building from parts around here. Well the frame, dash tower and transaxle is still Raider 12. I have 23x10.50-12's on it. Not sure what the wheels were on originally. They do have a good offset for the tractor though. Martin 2,133 #4 Posted May 28, 2014 You can use later rear JD wheels from some of the AWS 425? Series tractors. The models slip my mind right now but most of the AWS use the same wide wheel only turned backwards with all the dish inside. I have one on my c125 and all I had to do was strip the paint, paint it the right color and use it. Even the valve ends up on the inside when installed. These wheels are still used on the new JD tractors so you can check them out at the dealers. Bit more expensive but never any rust to deal with...... fredwook 2 #5 Posted May 28, 2014 Thank's for the information. Glad I didn't buy the john deere wheels. There sure are a lot of them out there. I will look for some cub wheels. Fred
