bmsgaffer 2,043 #1 Posted May 19, 2014 (edited) I picked up a 48" deck at Portland and I am looking to fix it up. The deck has no tag on it, and I am not sure what tractor it came from. It has the internal deflector chute if that helps. Are there any other design changes that I would be able to look for to narrow this down? Shell is very solid. But someone replaced the pulleys with odd looking ones and the spindles are mismatched and missing grease fittings. I am looking to get a full set of three good matching spindle assemblies. I have pulleys from a 42" i can use if necessary, but I would have to look what type they are. The spindles on that deck are trashed or I would just swap them over. I am also looking for the PTO drive belt. Since I don't have a model number I cant seem to narrow it down. It will be going on a C-145 or C-165.
