8 speed dip stick tube help

The dip stick tube is broken off at the casing of the transmission on my C 145, is it a press fit or is it threaded in?  I have a donor machine but don't want to break the tube trying to remove it.

It is threaded, 1/2" NPT

Please let us know how you get the donor one removed. I approached with heat (as in extremely warm), not hot. Wrench torque looks as if will break with any more force than I used and it didn't budge. Might add: short tube.

There should be a square shoulder on it where you can use an open end wrench. Because it is plastic, there shouldn't be any issues with rust. And because it is constantly splashed with oil, it should be well lubricated and unscrew easily.

Being Mother's Day weekend I won't be able to work on this until next weekend, the first thing I need to do is get the broken part out.  It broke below the square shoulder so I will try an easy out once that is done I will move on to the donor.
