boovuc 1,090 #3 Posted April 21, 2014 The old John Deere loaders used an external pump like the Johnson, Ark and Kwikway loaders so yes! You could fab an "old" John Deere loader to any other Garden Tractor. The key is the subframe and making sure you have a good center of gravity pivot point, etc. so you don't have an unstable tractor with a load. The newer JD's use the hydro ports from the tractor's own hydro system. These would require a lot of fab work/money!
seuadr 488 #4 Posted April 21, 2014 That is good to know, thanks! It is a longer term goal of mine to get a FEL and it is good to know I can keep an eye out for a wider variety of implements. The newer ones you talk about have 4 inputs, right?
