groundhog47 347 #1 Posted April 12, 2014 Perusing through previous posts with no answer found, what is/are dimension(s) that determine whether a Bottom Turning Plow is 8", 10", or 12". Thanks for any help and for "Why does it matter", it's preferential for me to call implements/parts by a proper name.

daveoman1966 3,624 #3 Posted April 12, 2014 Wheelhorse names this item simply as 'plow' or 'plow with coulter'. A more 'archaic' or farmers' name is 'moldboard plow'. The 8, 10, or 12" refers to the cutting width of the furrow.
squonk 38,988 #4 Posted April 12, 2014 I have 2 plows made by Brinly and they have an " 8" stamped into the back. It's measured like posifour's pic shows
