Agage1 83 #1 Posted April 11, 2014 I just started tearing down my 854 for the summer restoration project. The tear down went great, no seized bolts even the steering wheel came off no problem. I started the motor disassembly last night and when I removed the fuel pump the arm that rides on the cam was missing. The motor runs great it just smokes a bit, but I've never had any fuel issues at all. Is it possible that someone removed the arm and used the pump as a block off plate? I know you don't need a pump for these motors.
