K321 Spark Plug Gap

Recommended Posts

Antiquated

I've got a 1980 K321 I'd like to swap out a new spark plug on and I checked out my manual to see what the correct gap is.  The manual said:

Battery/Breakerless 0.035"
Magneto 0.025"
Gaseous Fuel Engines (Magneto/Battery Only) 0.018"

I'm not sure which I category my engine falls under although I don't think it's gaseous fuel.  Advice?

The 1980 C-145 used a Kohler K321AS-60362d engine with battery ignition.

Gaseous fuel is natural gas or propane.

I don't have a clue about Kohler but I gap all my plugs at .030 and it works great with the Onan, Briggs, and Tecumseh
