Adamsminitractor 9 #1 Posted April 3, 2014 Hi. I am in the process of fitting a Tecumseh HH100 engine into my C105. And my question is will the engines built in fuel pump draw the fuel up from the wheelhorses rear mounted tank or will i need a seprate pump?? Many Thanks
Desko 552 #2 Posted April 3, 2014 It should if the pump is good if its the pump that goes on the cam all it is is a primer like object on the inside if its not all it is is pulses of air on a reed valve for the separate pump
Adamsminitractor 9 #3 Posted April 4, 2014 Many thanks for that. The engine is a New old stock unit i picked up and its fitted with the pulse pump. I have a old Low pressure SU Diaphram pump as fitted to old British leyland cars in the 60s and 70s. It low pressure and i was going to use that, but am unsure if the carb would handle it??? would certainly ensure a good delivery of fuel. Thank again and your advise would be helpfull. Desko 552 #4 Posted April 4, 2014 The pulse pump will work fine and deliver enough fuel to the carb.
