Hi

Does anybody know when Wheelhorse tractors were first exported to the UK Its to give me some idea of the earliest tractors I am likely to come across this side of the pond.

Thanks

Michael, I have come across RJ model tractors, from the 50's I believe.

In Mike Martino's book he tells about 100 RJ tractors that were shipped to Spain. They were the influence in the redesign of the front axle from square steel tube to cast iron. I'd imagine they're few and far between, but there's RJs on up over there. Not too long ago I had an email from a gent named Mike who has a rusty old 1960 Suburban 400 over there. I don't know when the Belgium plant opened, but tractors were exported from stateside as early as the late 50s.

Hi all , thanks for the info, there's just a chance I might come across an early Horse over here, but with our damp climate over here it will probobly have been left outside and there wont be much left. :banghead: :USA:
