Mith 2 #1 Posted September 14, 2008 Been trying to buy one for years, and now I've finally got one. All works fine, the rams for the loader are corroded however, so I took the loader off. Its a 1953 TEF-20. 4 cyl diesel. The tyres are the original, so there is little tread. I have already got it stuck in the lawn once....

Rollerman 290 #5 Posted September 14, 2008 Pretty cool Jim, been thinking of giveing up some horses here for a Ford or Ferguson varition. The tires may be worn...but I'll give them comps for that vintage look. :banghead:

Mith 2 #7 Posted September 14, 2008 Cheers guys. I'm very pleased with the machine. I bought it really for my mum, she has always wanted one, she had a little drive around earlier and has claimed it as hers It sat idle for 15 years, so it needs a bit of looking at. As I said, the rams for the loader are shot. I put the loader arms out of the way, dont need a loader so I'll probably take the loader frame off the tractor. Stephen, the tyres are near on useless, they are pretty much slick. No good atall. I shall have to buy new ones ASAP. The PTO splines are also badly worn. No big deal though, can buy a new PTO shaft off the shelf. Thats one for next year though, dont need a mower this year.
