C-145 Throttle Cable routes...

Recommended Posts

Ol' Red

Hello! Nice forum here! Im trying to redo a C-145 auto, Ive had the engine bored and Ive rebuilt it... My only problem is I cant find any pictures that show me how the throttle cables (and Choke) were originally routed to there points on the motor? Any body that has any pictures of any of these old c-145s that can show me how to wire up the throttle cable would be most helpful! Thanks in advance!

heres some pics of my c125 throttle and choke cable routing. pics are a little dark, but you should be able to make out whats going on. click the pics to make them larger....

these models are very basic with the routing. as long as you have the brackets/clamps to support the cable, 2 on the throttle and one on the choke, its easy.

the first pic shows the back bracket for the throttle, the front clamp/standoff comes off the breather bolt..

the choke uses the standard bracket at the carb.

Ok I have no brackets! I also don't have that whole assembly (mounted on blower) that you show on that third pic! Anybody know where I can find the parts I need to make this thing right again?

parts will be very similar to this setup on one of my earlier kohlers. at least you can see how the parts are. the black and dark pics aren't real informative.
