doc724 925 #1 Posted February 26, 2014 For the older tractors that came with the creme colored wheels, I have read on RS that Rustoleum "linen" was the best easily available color match. However, I have also read that linen is discontinued. Today, I was at Home Depot and I decided to check out the new Rustoleum selections and I came across the color, Navajo White. From the cap color on the can, (which is a reference really), Navajo White is lighter than "almond" but darker than "white". I was tempted to just buy a can but my C141 is in the shed and not too accessible just at the moment. Has anyone tried this Navajo White color yet?
Lane Ranger 10,936 #2 Posted February 26, 2014 I have not but I have used Canvas White which is also a Rustoleum color.
WheelHorse79 271 #3 Posted February 26, 2014 I used Krylon Dover White on my 854 restoration, and the color worked out well.
Jake Kuhn 1,554 #4 Posted February 26, 2014 I have used the antique white and it is pretty close a NOS wheel I had. If you are looking for original that is really close.
Wishin4a416 2,190 #5 Posted February 26, 2014 I have not used the Navajo but have used the Canvas White. Looks real close to some wheels I had.

AMC RULES 37,117 #7 Posted February 27, 2014 Wheels do look great Steve... didn't you say you brushed that new paint on 'em?
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,326 #8 Posted February 27, 2014 Yup... I typically use a good brush and it lays down nice. The slight brush marks are usually the look I go for on non restored tractors. If I were doing a complete restore then I would spray them.
Mike'sHorseBarn 2,981 #9 Posted February 27, 2014 I use the rustoleum almond but it seems to dry lighter than the color on the can. I like the canvas color you use though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
