Mr. 856 170 #1 Posted February 20, 2014 I was wondering if anyone here would be kind enough to take a picture or tell me how the two head studs that hold the generator bracket are setup. What I mean by that is.........I know there is a washer under the nut on the stud that bolts the head down. Does anything go between the nut and the head cover? After the head cover/shield is put on the studs then what? washer then bracket? No washers just bracket? If just bracket........washers and nuts on top? I cant find a diagram that shows how this is setup. any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all that have guided me getting this old girl back together. I took this engine down awhile ago, had some machine work done, and it has sat on my work bench for almost 11 months. A son was born and life took a quick turn and the engine/tractor took the back burner Life is slowing down some and ive been in reassembly mode. Next time I'll better record my disassembly steps.
