WH nut 553 #4 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Sounds like you need to go back to where the problem occurred. Remove the face plate and make sure nothing came disconnected. Edited February 10, 2014 by WH nut
"D"- Man 827 #5 Posted February 10, 2014 If you have an electric voltage tester you could check to see if you have 12 volts at the solenoid when the key is turned to the start position. This may help to narrow it down. Mark.
Save Old Iron 1,564 #6 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) sounds like you may have flexed the starter trigger wire off the ignitin switch or at least repositioned it onto a corroded spot on the "S" terminal on the ignition switch. reseat the wire or clean / replace corroded ignition switch or wire terminals Edited February 11, 2014 by Save Old Iron
Don1977 604 #7 Posted February 20, 2014 I would first check the wires to the amp meter as all power to the switch comes through it. I guess you used a screw driver on the solenoid to start it that bypasses the switch.
