I found a guy selling 2 for 52$ which seems reasonable,but I want to be sure before I buy them I think my snowblower is an 06-st4201 I cant make out my serial number its faded. Rick_in_CT 156 #29 Posted January 3, 2014 Scotsman, I took a look at the Ebay link, and the youtube video that the seller has, it looks like the bearing he is selling should fit. Note that his bearing is aftermarket and not a Toro part. The Toro part uses a roll pin through the bearing, in addition to a set screw. He is using two set screws and no roll pin. Looking at your picture above where you have the inner race still on the shaft, the hole that is visible in the inner race looks like it may be the roll pin hole. Can you see a roll pin in this hole? The pin may be more visible on the other side of the shaft. If the roll pin is in the hole, you will need to drive it out before you can remove the inner race from the shaft. If there is still set screw in the inner race, it too has to be removed as well. I have attached another parts breakdown. If you scroll down in it you will see that they have included service bulliten #356 which references some issues that they were having when replacing this bearing. I bring this to your attention as the positioning of the shaft in the bearings has an effect on the positioning of the sprocket, and if you end up moving the shaft left or right from its original position, you will need to re-align the sprocket and any other drive components that work off of this shaft. Hopefully this will work out. From what I can tell, the current Toro part number for the bearing with roll pin hole is 107744. I talked to the guy selling the bearings. they are the right ones,and 2 for 52$ is a good price I cant get the old bearing sleeve off of the shaft,I will try to heat it up. The new bearings will use the bolt hole one my shaft for set screws. The guy is a machinist,and made them because he needed them,and then realized there was a market for them. I will let you guys know how they work when I install them. Hopefully there is a new source out there for some hard to find parts. They look to be good quality. Scotsman 46 #32 Posted January 7, 2014 I got the bearings today,and they fit perfect. I could not get the old one off because I had hammered the axle and made a muffin top that Had to file off. I then fixed my lift handle. the flag needed to be in a higher hole. And I replaced 2 pullies. I am ready for the snow .
