Mike, The Kohler K-241 makes noise It's an easy fix put a new Connecting Rod or Piston in the motor that's what my Dad told me . I've don't have this model tractor yet ( B-100 AUTO ) the C-100's engine would work mean while the other one is being fixed I could swap engines all day it doesn't bother me . Steve , I will look at the tractor this weekend I have to look at and decide on a price sometimes deals are depressing because one time I looked at a C-101 8-Speed and the owner showed me all the extra parts that went with the C-series It didn't run afterwards he told I want $500 people are funny sometimes oh I was interested .
