UK Storm Warnings

Recommended Posts

Anglo Traction

Areas have been hit pretty hard up North. Hope all are ok and if without power, that you get it back soon. Going to be a cold one up there tonight.

Next to be hit is the Full East Coast with the Sea Flood Warnings on Amber this evening.

Could be the worst in 60years so the News says. Stay safe :handgestures-fingerscrossed: .

Thanks Lane.....Look who is right smack dab in the middle of the 7"--10"!

Been messing with the "back-up" plow a little today.

Took off work 1/2 a day to go to the dentist, and now working on the B-80/plow as a back-up to the GT14.

You guys in the UK need to move out here by me...just west of Chicago.  The storms just go around you, the horses are all over the place, and the shows are to die for, can I tell you about the food  (PIZZA)......and you already know a ton of the members.  I do not know what is keeping you guys there???  :ychain::)   Be safe and good luck with these storms.

Steveo , If i was twenty years younger there is no way that i would stay in UK any longer, especially the way things are here nowadays & i would gladly take your offer & move to the states .

Our Government has just about finished to country off , & they do not give a toss about how people are surviving  here .

Dont get me on this one If you really want me to sound off . :ROTF:

I once was proud to be British but not anymore , because Britain is not Britain anymore :angry-banghead:  :angry-banghead:  :angry-banghead:  :angry-banghead:  :angry-banghead:

Been rather wild over night and this morning over here. 80mph gusts. No trees down unfortunately. Some snow on the fells and the coast is on a flood warning due to a tidal surge on its way. Going to hit the east coast harder though.

Don't let 'em get you down Neil, they're no worse than the last lot of 'Wasters', Damage is done and a long repair job needed, just hang on until it either gets better or unbearable, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Last one to leave can then turn the light off.

Grass is greener is the saying, I think you would have to look very hard to find anything greener elsewhere.

I'm an Englishman...and proud of it.  :flags-wavegreatbritain:  :)

I Reckon he meant some of those Meddling Politicians who have a marvellous knack of screwing up when thinking they are doing Good for the Country/World ? .

So , Hopefully everyone will have survived the overnight Weather/Tide turmoils ok, Lot of damage though.

Look's like that tree snapped off pretty cleanly about 8ft up and took a wall with it !. Was it an Ivy covered Sycamore Mark?.

It was certainly ivy wrapped, very probably ash or sycamore.

Signs of Flooding appearing in my area already. The River Mole has burst it's banks in the Low lying areas and flooding the fields and some roads.

Have another 2 lots of heavy rain and winds due through over the next 2 nights.

No Flood issues for me or most in my area, but will be a problem in other parts of the UK & Euro area.

Anybody having problems yet?.
