Don1977 604 #2 Posted December 2, 2013 There isn't any difference in the crankshaft as the Kohlers used balance gears. Make sure it's a crankshaft is from a 341 as the 301's have weight milled off the crankshaft. Most everyone rebuilding a Kolher leaves out the balance gears. They have the name "Grenade Gears" from busting out the side of the block when the bearings wear out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
