stnygrm 11 #1 Posted November 24, 2013 My 310-8 has 22x7.50x12 on it, what would be a good replacement for these since that size is hard to find chains for and too narrow! Thanks
Sparky-(Admin) 23,168 #2 Posted November 24, 2013 23x8.50x12 is probably the best size for your machine. You could go up to a 23x9.50x12 if your looking for a wide look. Mike.........
baerpath 517 #3 Posted November 24, 2013 I would look for 23 x 8.5 if you want to use your rims. I have a new set of 10.5 x 23 bar treads for sale on rims if interested I would look for 23 x 8.5 if you want to use your rims. stnygrm 11 #4 Posted November 24, 2013 would the deck need to be leveled if I go with 23 inch tires?
Irv 115 #5 Posted November 24, 2013 Probably a bit with the rod on the rear of the deck that has a nut on it-easy to do.
sorekiwi 761 #6 Posted November 24, 2013 These guys have a great selection of chains: https://www.cedarrapidstire.com/category/16328/2-link-tire-chains-rud-garden-tractor-tire-chains They have a 23-7.5x12 listed that I bet would fit. Call them up and ask, they were super helpful when I bought a set a few years ago - I was looking for a set for my B80 which I think has the 22-7.5 also. Kelly 1,033 #7 Posted November 24, 2013 Also watch going to a bigger tire, some of the 300 series tractors with the small tires use a narrower rim, I have a 312 here with the 7.5 tires and it has 6" wide rims, wider tires will not fit very good on the narrow rim.
