Digger 66 3,488 #1 Posted November 22, 2013 Well boys -n- girls , heres the latest thing to follow me home . A 2010 can-Am Renegade 500 that was neglected by a dumb kid . Digger to the rescue !!! Here's how she arrived last September , caked with so much mud it was hard to see beyond it . But having several ( now ) B.R.P. products & great faith in the ROTAX powerplant I got to work : One rainy September morning , it began Started the nearly complete disassembly She was dirty & straight ( so I thought ) , the lower spar of the frame had a kink in it , ( a fairly common problem with an even easier solution ) . So out came the welder & the " frame mod " was built & installed & welded in place making the frame straight & stronger than it was from the factory . & my buddy Billy was brave enough to hold the wood while I drove in the steel . 3 pieces of 1 1/4 " square tube actually fits perfectly in the lower spar of the frame. She's been completely gone through with all items that were even questionable were replaced with OEM Or aftermarket parts & here she is today : I cant wait to get MY dirt on it .
