squonk 43,964 #1 Posted November 12, 2013 Stuck at home, just finished watching a documentary on The Battle of Midway. Clicked off the remote and BOOOOOM! From my chair I see smoke and a truck grille about 50 yds. from me. An 18 wheeler full of corn took the corner too fast and flipped on it's side. It spilled corn onto the yard and the front porch of the house on the corner. They brought a big vacuum to suck the corn up and are still at it 4 hours later. They couldn't get the fifth wheel detached so they had to drag the cab away from the trailer while prying on the latch. Pics and videos! Just think about all the excitement you would have missed going to work, instead you woulda came home to a few loose kernels blowing about the street. Didn't do any thing different except I shot it in my house, with my phone instead of the I- pad and I had the phone turned sideways. Maybe that's the Apple secret? Getting a new super whoopsie tractor seat for either Elvis or Ezra. Right now it's dark , my arm is killing me and I have 2 cats on my lap. You couldnt get Elvis over there to scoop up the corn eh??
