flyovrcntry 115 #1 Posted November 4, 2013 I think we should have a forum for us digitaly challenged folks.We have several computer enlightened members who could help us. Having just got some help on my new computer from a member recently,I still have problems. The Doctor gave me a link that got me booting right to the desktop in windows 8.1.I like that,but my tabs are not working .When I click the ie button I go back to desktop and lose the page I was on. DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #3 Posted November 4, 2013 If I'm following you correctly I think you need to start the desktop version of IE and not the one from the tiles. The easiest way I've found to do this by adding the Classic Start menu back using this free open source program. . http://sourceforge.net/projects/classicshell/ It's from a reliable source and I've been using it for years.
