how to make an old, dirty and somewhat worn steering wheel look better?

There have been several posts in the past here on this subject, on repairing your steering wheel,

and it is something you can do yourself.  

If it's just dirty and worn, you can clean it up and then use a Plastic Restorer (like Meguiars') to bring back the luster.  

If a few cracks, JBWeld can fill those in;  and if pieces or chunks are missing, they can be fixed/restored/rebuilt also.

 

•• Met a Wheel Horse guy at the Big Show in PA last June that does this professionally, it's his

full time business;  a Wheel Horse steering wheel may cost several hundred to restore,  but he
