Finished a Classic 314-8

Picked up  this 1993 314 8 speed a couple weeks ago and since it needed less work than some of my other projects it got moved to the front of the line. I did do a refurbish job to it, new paint on the sheet metal, new seat, new decals on the hood and seat pan. The deck had one spindle shaft that was stripped on the blade end I managed to get it threaded and put new blades on it along with new wheels. I went ahead and sprayed the deck and mounted it on the tractor. Took it out to mow with it to make sure everything was OK on it, I noticed that it was slow to take off so I replaced the drive belt and now it's ready to go to work.

Very nice Horse, the time you spent, restoring the tired Stallion is well worth the effort.

Great work and thank you for preserving Wheel Horse history.

Nice looking tractor.  New paint or did you just polish up what you had?

Yes those are new decals on the hood and seat pan and the sheet metal got stripped and new paint. It does have one wheel that is not original and the front wheels need paint. It is for sale!

I have said it on here many times before, I only use Van Sickle paint from a local farm store. I have tried other paints years ago and when I started using this paint I haven't switched. It is very easy to spray, does not chip or peel and stays shiny when you use the hardener. The picture below is a 1989 520H I painted over 3 years ago.
